Graveside rites were held in Chicago's Forest Park Hebrew Cemetery Thursday afternoon for Harry Goldberg, retired Crawfordsville businessman who died Tuesday in Culver Hospital. Burial was beside the father, Joseph Goldberg. -- kbz

Harry Goldberg, 76, retired Crawfordsville businessman, died Tuesday morning in Culver Hospital where he had been a patient since Oct 14. Mr. Goldberg, who was active in business here most of his life, operated a salvage business at the intersection of Lafayette Avenue and Grant Avenue many years. The business was founded by his father, Joseph Goldberg and until the death of the father was known as Joseph Goldberg & Son. Mr. Goldberg had lived at 801 E. Main for many years. Previously the family home was on West Market. Survivors include two nephews, Eugene Epstein of Denver, Colo and Dr. Irvin Epstein, St. Paul Minn, dentist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lillian Goldberg and two sisters. The body was taken to the Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be beside the wife in Lousville, Ky. Arrangements for the services are incomplete. -- kbz
